Machining & Milling
Machining and milling involve removing material from a metal blank or semi-finished part using rotating cutting tools, to produce precise flat surfaces, holes, threads, pockets and other close-tolerance features. Unlike forming processes such as spinning or bending, machining can hold very tight dimensional tolerances and fine surface finishes.
At Pro-Spin, machining and milling are typically used as a finishing step for parts that have already been spun, laser cut, formed or welded — adding mounting faces, precision bores, threaded holes or other features required to meet final drawing specifications. Keeping this step in-house at our Montréal facility means tighter control over quality, tolerances and lead time.
For specific machine capacities, tolerances and part-size limits, our team can review your drawings and confirm feasibility as part of your quote.
