Metal Bending
Bending shapes flat sheet or plate metal into angles, channels, flanges and complex profiles using a press brake and precision tooling. It's one of the most common — and most critical — steps in sheet metal fabrication, since accurate bend angles and consistent repeatability directly affect how well parts fit and function downstream.
Pro-Spin's bending capabilities handle material up to roughly 1/4"–3/8" thick and up to 78 inches in length, supporting everything from simple flanges to multi-bend enclosures and brackets. Because bending is done in-house alongside our laser cutting, punching and welding, formed parts move straight into assembly or finishing without added lead time.
Metal bending (press brake forming) uses a punch and die to apply controlled force along a line on a flat metal blank, creating a precise angle or profile without cutting or removing material. It's used to produce brackets, enclosures, channels, flanges and structural components across nearly every industry that works with sheet metal.
Bending capabilities
- Maximum material thickness: approximately 1/4" – 3/8"
- Maximum part length: 78"
Because bending sits alongside our laser cutting, tube cutting, turret punching and welding capabilities, parts can be cut, bent, welded and finished in a single, coordinated workflow — reducing handling, shipping and lead time for multi-process components.
